Step 1: Register at a Licensed Coquitlam Centre
Contact licensed centres to join their waitlists (registration) and then complete enrollment when a spot opens. Waitlist registration typically requires: child’s name and date of birth (or due date), your contact information, target start date. Some centres charge a non-refundable waitlist registration fee ($25-100).
Step 2: Complete Enrollment Documentation
When a spot opens and you accept: sign the parent service agreement, complete consent forms (sunscreen, photos, first aid, medication), provide immunization records, BC health card, and 3+ emergency contacts.
Step 3: Register for ACCB on ChildCareBC.ca
If your household income is under approximately $111K, apply for ACCB through ChildCareBC.ca. You’ll need: BC Services Card or driver’s licence, most recent Notice of Assessment, child’s BC health number, and care confirmation from your licensed centre. Allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
