How ACCB Is Calculated
- Income source: Previous year’s combined household income (line 15000 of your T1 return / Notice of Assessment)
- Care type matters: Benefits are higher for infant group care than for toddler or older-age care
- CCFRI is separate: CCFRI reduces the centre’s fee automatically — ACCB is an additional income-tested benefit on top of that
- Maximum benefit: $1,250/month for infant group care. The benefit cannot exceed the actual fee charged
