- Create or log into your MyGovBC account — go to my.gov.bc.ca. If you don’t have one, create it (requires BCServicesCard app for identity verification — allow 1-2 days to set up).
- Go to ChildCareBC.ca and click “Apply for Affordable Child Care Benefit”
- Gather your documents before starting:
- Most recent CRA Notice of Assessment (both parents if applicable) — have line 15000 or 23600 ready
- Licensed care enrollment confirmation from Smiling Kids (we provide this)
- Employment confirmation letter from your employer, or school enrollment letter, or job-seeking declaration
- Immigration documents (if applicable — PR card, work/study permit)
